The Innovation Challenge is proud to announce that the 2011 “Most Innovative MBA Team in the world” is: Team Brandslam! | AT&T

First Place: Team Brandslam | VCU’s Brandcenter (AT&T)
Second Place: The Panthers | Chapman University (GE)
Third Place: Team CoGro | Wharton (Syngenta)

Team Brandslam beat out a total of 168 other teams (and 798 MBA and graduate students) to win the 2011 Innovation Challenge! The team rang last Friday’s closing bell at the New York Stock Exchange along with other finalist. Team Brandslam will also split the first place cash prize of $20,000 with the second place team taking home $3000; our third place finisher taking home $2000.

It was a very exciting and fun day. All teams were taken out to dinner in New York with their respective sponsors and teams were given swag, private tours and additional items. The Innovation Challenge hosted a networking luncheon where our finalist could rub shoulders with senior executives, their peers and others. All present were even given a behind the scenes tour of the NYSE and given access to the trading floor! Photos to follow.
